Our Vision and Mission
NABORS/SUNDOWNER Supervisors, Managers
and HS&E personnel set their vision and mission for
1998.
They report that their vision for SAFETY
is "To have an incident free workplace where
employees work as a TEAM toward a common
goal of PROACTIVELY managing SAFETY
in order to prevent worker injury.
In addition, the group wrote a mission
statement to enhance the direction of these goals. Their MISSION
is:

To PROMOTE
a work environment based on employee involvement,
ownership, teamwork, training, and leadership; |
| |
To DEVELOP
self-esteem, empowerment, pride, enthusiasm, and
optimism; |

the need for employees to support and care about
their co-workers; |
| |
To
PROMOTE the philosophy that SAFETY
is not a priority that can be reordered, but is a
VALUE associated with every PRIORITY;
|
| |
To RECOGNIZE
group and individual achievement. |
These steps will provide
a resounding message to the rig crews that
NABORS/SUNDOWNER is committed to a work environment where
people think SAFETY first.
